I was inspired by the Russian BMPT and the Israeli Nagmachon to build this AFV. There’s is a Abrams hull under all the add on armour as I had one in the spares box.
It’s definitely one I’d like to get. I’ve got a few kits I’ve got to work through first. I’ve got a Miniart T55 with interior which is going to take a long time to build.
@paul taberer No I've not done one either. It’s quite daunting as it has 1600 parts. That Centurion sounds great, I wasn’t aware Tamiya did armour in that scale.
Ur welcome. Good glad it was fun n u enjoyed building it. U did well then for ur first scratch build kit. Yes can understand that I've started using plasticard too. Cool u must have quite a collection of models then that u built.
Nice! Got Tamiya T55 Enigma in the stash that has lots of additional slabs of armour all over the upper hull.👍
I really like the look of the Enigma it’s a fascinating tank. They have one at Bovington.
Yeah, seen it a couple of times. Glad I got to cut my teeth on the T55 before before I attempt this brute.

@the.afv.factory Never done a full interior before. But I have the Tamiya 1/25 Centurian in my stash which has a partial innards.

Think it’s a kit from the 70s. But 1600 parts!!!! That’s enormous! Your be sprue cutting for weeks haha.
I know, I’ll probably wear out a pair of sprue cutters just on that kit haha. Do you know what sort of range of 1/25 armour they did?
Well done tank looks really cool like what u done to it nice colour too
Thanks, it was a fun build and my first scratch built kit. I like working with plasticard, I think that's part of the reason I've built a few more.
