Hi guys, this is my first Zvezda kit and I thought I’d take a look at the contents of the box and let you know what I think.
This kit was a new release in 2018 and are a new tool. The kit has a fairly low parts count at 376 and this is made up of the hull upper and lower, five sprues in light grey plastic, a clear sprue, a small piece of mesh and a sheet of decals.
You get a double sided painting guide showing the vehicle in either all over green and a three tone camouflage. The instruction booklet is quite thin at only eight pages including the front and back. Six of those cover the build and the pages are very busy.
The sprues are sealed up in three plastic bags and on inspection are clean and crisply molded. The tracks are the link and length type with separate guide horns and have good detail. Ejector pin marks appear to be in places that won’t show and I couldn’t see any flash. The hull is huge and could be a candidate for warping but this one is completely straight and true. The detail is excellent with tiny bolt heads very fine welds.
This kit looks very good and I have high hopes when I come to build it.
Model purchased by myself.
