BIt more progress in the last couple of hours. Some parts have had a black gloss applied using the Zero Paints brand. Lovely paint to spray down and gives a lovely finish, just takes a while to dry. Other parts have been cleared of flash and seam lines taken care of. Now for couple of hours break from this project to start my Eduard MiG-21PFM

Looking good Matt. I’m not familiar with zero paints. Are they acrylic or lacquer?
Hi bob, thank you. They are lacquer paints and pre-thinned. There is literally no fussing around with them. There is a wide selection and the majority are colour matched to vehicles. I used them for my Tamiya Red Bull RB6 and had great results and the colour was spot on for both the body and nose. They have just started doing RAF colours but have not tried them. If you wanted to browse, I get them from Hiroboy.com
Thanks Matt, they sound like a good product. I will check them out. I’ve got the new Tamiya lacquer paints which I’m keen to try.
I really want to try the Tamiya Lacquers, heard and read very good things. I have had a bit of a spending spree the last 2 months so may wait a month or two and plus I need to get some of the Model Designs paint racks to get my paints organised better.
I'm doing a beginners guide to airbrushing at the moment and when I get to the paint stage I will use the Tamiya paints. I've got a StuG to paint, I've just given a coat of primer.
Mclaren is coming along nice... even a Tifosi can appreciate the Rivals... I use Zero paints but you do need the 2K to get the full finish... I have some of the new Tamiya LP paints but getting hold of the Black/Semi Gloss and the Flat is proving a challenge... I so miss not attending shows.
